Donald Roy Vaughan & Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Mr. Franklin was born December 21, 1946 in Naples to Claudie H. & Lena Sanders Franklin and died October 1, 2010 in Daingerfield. He was a Methodist anda member of The National Utility Contractors Association. He was a carpenter & millwright.He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie H. and Lena Franklin; brother, Frank Franklin.Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Black Franklin of Daingerfield; daughter andson-in-law, Tammie & Jerry Jones of Macon, GA; stepdaughter, Candace Jodal & herhusband Pete of Wylie, TX; brother, Bill Franklin of Macon, GA; grandchildren,Luke and Kaleb Jones of Macon, GA; aunt, Hazel Goins of Huntsville, TX.

James Earl was my 2nd cousin & I have many fine memories of him and his parents, Hoss and Lena May. I’m truly sorry for your loss. He will missed & God Bless you all.
