Irma McMichael

Graveside services for Irma McMichael, 83, of Omaha will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr. in Arlington with Jim Rose officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. Mrs. McMichael was born on March 17, 1940 in Fort Sill, OK to Jesse and Frances Worsham. She passed away on Sunday Morning, July 23, 2023 at her home in Omaha. She was an accountant for Lone Star Steel in the Dallas office for 27 years. She loved her family and was a member of the Naples Church of Christ. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. McMichael was preceded in death by her husband, Gene McMichael in 2002 and her son-in-law, John Hixson in 2021. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Becky) Hixson of Hughes Springs, Ginger McMichael and wife Mary of Aubrey; grandchildren, David Hixson and wife Katie of Midlothian, Stephen Hixson of Hughes Springs, Claire Hixson of Oklahoma City, OK; great grandchildren, Trent, Rowan and John Hixson of Midlothian; and cousin, Luther Wayne "Butch" Eddleman and wife Sheri of Garland.
