Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ with Tim Gibbsand Norman Miller officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. She was born August 6, 1921 in Daingerfield, Texas and died Monday, January 16, 2012 in Longview. Irene was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by husband, Joe Phillips & son, Byran Phillips. Survived by her daughter, Patsy Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, Tx.; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Phillips of Colorado Springs, Co., Howard & Nora Phillips of Daingerfield, Tx.; grandchildren, Candace Martin of Mt. Vernon, Tx., Chris & Heidi Crews, Lisa & Sebastian Escobar all of Mt. Pleasant, Tx., Iris Kyoko & Tim Snow of Colorado Springs, Co., Tony & Kellie Phillips of Daingerfield, Tx.; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Gene Harrell of Englewood, Co., Gerald Harrell & Norman Harrell of Daingerfield, Tx.; sisters, Johnnie Pilbro of Mt.
