Daingerfield-Memorial services for Harold Lynn Hegler, 87 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Jenkins United Methodist Church with Bro. Jerry Irvin Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Harold was born on January 15, 1932 to Lee and Jewel Hegler in Avery, TX. He died on February 28, 2019.He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Lone Star Steel after 29 years of employment. He was a member of the Jenkins United Methodist Church. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years Erma Hegler, son Harold Hegler, Jr., 2 grandchildren Rachel and Jacob Hegler and sister Fern Sapienza. Survived by sons Charles Lee Hegler of Daingerfield, Troy Layne Hegler and wife Candace of Durant, OK. and Christopher Layne Hegler and wife Katherine of Lone Star; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 4 nephews and 2 nieces.Donations may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo, TX.
