  1. I worked with Mr. Gant in Cleveland, Texas in the mid-1990s. I enjoyed my time with him. He was direct, decisive, and clear about what he expected. I liked that. Mr. Gant worked hard to make school districts better than how he found them. He succeeded. He had health issues at that time but seemed to handle them very well. He made beautiful stained glass. His office was decorated with some of his pieces. My condolences are extended to Joyce and all of Mr. Gant’s family and friends. Floyd Elfrink

  2. We were honored to have Greg & Joyce & family with us for the years they were in Schulenburg at the Schulenburg Church of Christ. Joyce taught my girls in Sunday School while Greg participated in the church with my dad & many others. Greg had an art talent & painted me a Shorthorn out of wood that I wore proudly to the football games. My condolences to you all. Love Carolyn (Klopsteck) Kutac, Crystal, Katie & Candace. 🙏🙏❤️
