Glenda Janette Campbell

Glenda Janette Campbell was born on September 30, 1941 to George Jones and Etta Haney. She passed away on June 6, 2024. Glenda was born in Gilmer, Texas where she graduated from Gilmer High School. She worked at the Army Airforce Exchange Service for 22 years. She finished her career as part of the First Response Unit, Customer Contact in a supervisory position. She was known to love pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and roosters. She also enjoyed cooking. Among the things she loved, she loved the Lord. She found her church home at Plymouth Park Baptist Church in Irving where she attended many years. She has been reunited with her parents, George Washington Jones and Etta Clara Haney; and her husband, James Campbell Sr.; Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James Campbell Jr. and his wife Pansy; daughter, Sandra Rigdon and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Colleen James, Steen Walsh-Tressler, Cole Rigdon, Amber Rigdon; and great grandchildren, Robert Davis. A graveside service will be held at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery at 11 AM on Thursday, June 13, 2024. Services have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
