Services for Francis Edwin Maricelli, 88 of Daingerfield will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Ed was born on August 5, 1931 in Clarence, Louisiana to Joseph Sydney and Lola Tooley Maricelli. He died on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Longview. He worked for Lone Star Steel as an Instrumental Technician. He was a Christian and a veteran of the Coast Guard. Ed was a lifetime member of VFW post 1890.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph Sidney Maricelli, Jimmy Eugene Maricelli, sisters, Ruby Allday and Lorena Daigle, grandson Jules Maricelli;Survived by his wife, Iona Fay Maricelli of Daingerfield; sons Dennis Maricelli and wife Amy of San Antonio, Michael Maricelli of Daingerfield, Jeffrey Maricelli of San Antonio and daughter Fay Mullins and husband Kerry of Ewell. 6 grandchildren, Samantha, Raechelle, Paige, Tori, Joe and Sarah; Niece Denise Maricelli and nephew Fred Maricelli; Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 Friday at the funeral home.
