Services for Faye Simpson, 91 of Lone Star will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Lone Star with Sammy Whatley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Faye was born on May 5, 1927 in Silverton, TX to Alvis and Mae Pack. She died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Lone Star. She was a bookkeeper for A & E Machine Shop, a cancer survivor, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lone Star. She was very active in the church.Faye was preceded in death by her parents, husband James R. Simpson, and son David Simpson.She is survived by her son Jim Simpson and wife Jean of Lone Star; daughters Donna Freeman and husband Steve of Southlake; Brenda Knight and husband Randy of Daingerfield; daughter-in-law Rosemary Simpson; grandchildren Jennifer Kerns, Mike Simpson, Matthew Freeman, Lang Freeman, Randy McKay, Misty McGrede, and Elizabeth Boone; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Joyce Arnold and Melba Smith.Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com.
