Faye Mars ChapmanDaingerfield- Funeral services for Faye Mars Chapman, 96 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Daingerfield Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral home.Faye was born July 8, 1917 in Rocky Branch to Walter and Essie Carr. She died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Hughes Springs.Faye was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ and a retired nurses aid.She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Berry Mars and J. W. Chapman, grandson Jeff Laney, 2 brothers Jimmy Carr and Merrill Carr, sister Ora Green.Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Walter B. and Rita Mars of Daingerfield; daughters, Cynthia Hampton of Daingerfield and Evelyn Miller of Hughes Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Stacee Chapman of Diana; sister, Ruby Clay of Omaha; 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
