Venoy DanielDaingerfield- Funeral services for Venoy Daniel, 78 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Veal Switch Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Ogelsby and Bro. Paul Denny officiating. Burial will be in the Veal Switch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Venoy was born December 8, 1936 in Simms to Everett and Ima Moore Daniel and died on Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Daingerfield.Venoy was a member of Veal Switch Baptist Church, veteran of the U S Army and also served in the Texas National Guard. He was retired from T&N Railway as a first class carman.Survived by his wife Virginia Daniel of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law Roger D. and Penny Daniel of Daingerfield, Steve and Debbie Daniel of Lone Star, and Greg and Janice Daniel of Pittsburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Anne and Don Silbernagel of Prosper, Joy McCullough of Mansfield and Iva Nell Tidwell of Texarkana; grandchildren Shawna Lockridge of Kilgore, Carrie Parker of Carterville, Chet Daniel of Frisco, Justin Daniel of Daingerfield, Jessica Shaddix of Ft. Worth, Jennifer Matthews of Pittsburg; 11 great grandchildren.Family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
