Erma Lee HeglerDaingerfield-Memorial services for Erma Lee Hegler, 83 of Daingerfield, beloved wife, mother and grandma will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Jenkins United Methodist Church with Bro. Jerry Irvin officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Erma was born on October 20, 1934 in Keota, Ok.. She died on Friday, January 12, 2018. She was a member of Jenkins United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. Erma was a proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and worked at TOPPS for 12 years. She was a cancer survivor and rang the bell on Nov. 2, 2017.She was preceded in death by her mother Valdona Bonaparte, step father Charles Bonaparte, son Harold Lynn Hegler, Jr., 2 grandchildren Rachel and Jacob Hegler.Survived by her husband of 62 years Harold Lynn Hegler of Daingerfield; sons and daughters-in-law Charles Lee Hegler of Daingerfield, Troy Layne and Candace Hegler of Durant, Ok., and Christopher Layne and Katherine Hegler of Lone Star; sister Tina Mackey of Wister, Ok.;10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews.In Lieu of flowers please consider making donations to the Cancer Center of Longview or Jenkins United Methodist Church.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
