Elaine and I spent a lot of time together. I spent the night at her home many times. We always laughed when we’d get together. I kept her up late at night playing games and talking. I shared everything with her. She knew me better than my own sisters. We ditched school together once and went to the mall. It really freaked her out because we obviously should have been in school. I saved her from a neighborhood German shepherd on the way to school one morning. He came out of his house and was charging right at us. She said she was ready to climb up on my shoulders. I ran straight at that dog and shouted at him to get back in his house. He did what he was told, thank God! We walked to school together nearly every day in middle school. 😢 I’ll miss her till the day I die.
Elaine is so special. I remember in 2020 when we had a slumber party at Hope Homes and me and Elaine and Carol were determined to stay up all night because the younger women said we could not do it. But we did! We sat up All Night and talked and talked and laughed. We had such awesome fellowship. I will miss her so. Until we see each other again. I love you Elaine and family! Bobbie Heath
We met Elaine at Downpour Church. She was so very sweet and friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. She always had a smile and a joyful demeanor that was infectious. Elaine was truely a delightful person and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Fly high dear Elaine. You are loved by many.
