Dorothy Joan Holcomb DAINGERFIELD - Services for Dorothy Joan Holcomb, 83, of Daingerfieldwill be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Crisp, Dr. Tim Wade & Rev. Chad Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery under the direction of Nail- Haggard Funeral Home.Mrs. Holcomb was born September 1, 1927 in Burton-On-Trent, Stafford-shire, England to Herbert & Drusilla Bettison and went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2010. She has been a "Texan" for the past 62 years.One of her many highlights was when she became a U.S. citizen, being a very loving mom, grandmom, aunt & special friend to many.She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & Drusilla Bettison; sister, Betty Forman; husband, Denman Holcomb.Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Christine & Ennice Williams ofDaingerfield, Janice & Jimmy Reid of Hughes Springs; son & daughter-in-law,Robert & Paula Wilkes of Princeton, TX; sister, Winnie Maclin of Jasper, TX; Shewill also be missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.The family will receive friends 6 pm til 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cypress Basin Hospice, 207Morgan, Mt.
