Daingerfield- Funeral services for David Charles "Featherhead" Grant, 73, of Ore City will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Gary Griffin officiating. Burial will be 2:00 P.M. at the Sonora Cemetery in Commerce.David was born August 12, 1940 in Los Angeles, Ca. to David William and Verna Mae Grant. He died Sunday, March 30, 2014 in Commerce.He was preceded in death by his parents and Irine Grant, the love of his life.David was a Baptist, veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired truck driver.Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Genia Grant of Flower Mound; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and James Lambert of Commerce; grandsons, Jarrod Lambert and Jimmy Lambert both of Commerce; brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie and Pat Grant of Lone Star.Family will recieve friends from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
