He died on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Hughes Springs.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Donna Phillips.Survived by his sons Bobby Phillips and wife Misti of Daingerfield, Clayton Thorton of San Antonio; grandchildren Jonothan Thornton of Santa Fe and Tryston Phillips of Daingerfield; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends at 6:00 P.M.
