A personalized service celebrating the life Danny "Choo Choo" Noble, 72, of Daingerfield will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Church on the Rock in Daingerfield with Pastor Randy Seybert officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Following the service, everyone is invited to bring your lawn chair and fellowship at a Classic Car and Hot Rod Show on the Church parking lot in honor of "Choo Choo's" love for classic cars and trucks. The family requests all who love their cars bring them and show them. Celebration services have been entrusted to the Horn family at Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield. Mr. Noble will lie in state from 9 AM to 4 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the funeral home. Danny M. "Choo Choo" Noble was born January 21, 1952 in Kaufman, TX to James M and Helen Smith Noble. Danny loved anything that had wheels. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, wagons, he loved them all and could find beauty in even the ugliest ones. He drove the best and the worst and each one was his favorite. He also loved his baseball playing days as a young boy, working at Dan's Vegetable Stand in Blossom, Tx., shooting a game of pool with his friends and last but not least, his coffee buddies at Hawkins and the sweet ladies that took care of him. His love of cars however could never replace the love for his family. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, niece Tiffaney O'dell and great niece Emersyn Reese Schook. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marla Smith Noble; daughters, Kelli Noble Collard and Shelli Noble Barron (Samuel Eller); grandchildren, Harley Collard (Tyler Logan), Weston Collard, Camron Barron (Hannah), Jayson Barron (Ashanti), Jaylee Barron, Ty Eller, Autumn Eller (Kevin Rudd); great grandbabies, Tatum Logan, Beau Ray Barron, Kanean Searcy, Nova Barron, Isaac Jeter, Saylor "Soupy" Barron and Xander Rudd; brother, Jimmy Noble (Peggy); sister, Genia Noble Grant (Johnnie); brother- in- law, Tommy Smith; sister- in- law, Tina Smith Penny (Roger); several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews as well as aunts, uncles and cousins. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in honor of Choo Choo to the Rocky Branch Volunteer Fire Dept., Chambers Hospice or the charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a very special heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Chambers Home Health &Hospice who took wonderful care of him.

  9. We are all going to miss Choo Choo not going to be the same not seeing him at the Rod Runs. Took me awhile to get use to not seeing weird Harold & Dee Dee at the car shows, now we have lost Choo Choo. With them 3 up there in heaven I Know Them 3 are going to be a HOOT.! Love and prayers Marla.

  10. I will never forget when Choo Choo first got to Dangerfield, there were a bunch of us at Jones parking lot, he backed that red Chevy Nova through the glass plate window in Jones store, we hid his car between all of our pickups and they never found out who did it,LOL

  11. Whenever I pass by the old Jones Shopping Center I can still hear the echoes of Choo Choo’s train sounds from almost 50 years ago. Although life took us down different paths Choo Choo always remained a very dear friend of mine. He will be greatly missed by many.

  12. Always loved when they came to the Mena Rod Run. Their smiles and laughter as they reminisced about other shows and adventures was so much fun. Such a joy with them there. ChooChoo will be sorely missed and my heart is with his Marla and family as they go through this sadness. May you all have peace during this time.

  20. To Marla and The Immediate and Extended Family of Danny “Choo Choo” Noble with Deepest Regrets and Condolences.

If Finer Human Beings than Marla & Danny Noble ever walked the face of this planet I have yet to meet them…..

Beth and I would see Marla & Danny in Daingerfield every few years when we would go back to Daingerfield for a wedding, reunion or other occasion. We would usually go to Hawkins and visit for an hour or two. Beth and Marla had been friends since their school days in Daingerfield….

It did not matter if it had been weeks, months or years since we had seen them, they were always the same sweet couple that we remembered from decades ago……

Being married for 50 years is a testament to their love for each other and their love for life and family…..

May God Be With You All And Bless You With A Sense Of Peace Now And In The Difficult Days Ahead……

Submitted With Love And The Greatest Respect,…..
