May 24, 1954 ~ September 4, 2024

Cyndi Allen was born May 24, 1954, in Gilmer, Texas. Cyndi became “Forever Young” September 4, 2024, at 70 years young. Cyndi graduated from Daingerfield High School in May of 1972, and married the love of her life November 24, 1973. Cyndi is preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Opal Meeler, her Son-in-Law, Will Stone, her fur babies Precious and Felitsa, and many dear friends. Cyndi devoted her life to her husband, daughters, grandsons, and her friends that she considered family. She had a heart for service and children. When time permitted, Cyndi worked at Mother’s Day Out at First Baptist Church, in both Lone Star and Daingerfield to share her love for Jesus with littles. Cyndi spent her time caring for her family and friends - always ready and able to meet the needs of others. While Cyndi lived her whole life in Morris County, Texas, she never met a stranger. Cyndi had a way to build relationships with anyone she met - allowing her to have friendships around the world. Cyndi is survived by her loving husband, Robert Allen, Daughters, Steffanie Stone and Halie Allen, Grandsons, Allen Stone and Cross Stone, and many family and friends. Cyndi’s legacy of love and service will be honored through our memories and by the way each of us treat others. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Sarcoma research. https://donate.cancer.org/?campaign=search&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaignid=17604508476&utm_adgroupid=154868974548&utm_keyword=sarcoma%20research&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6c63BhAiEiwAF0EH1EpuzSeSZrhKmfQJu58ucBSUxcahCM9syofNf53g2PhQIt0cmnleIBoCt9gQAvD_BwE A Celebration of Love honoring Cyndi will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at The Hill in Daingerfield, TX.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Opal, I was saddened to see this. Cyndi was such a special friend. I actually remember her from our school bus riding days! She was fun as a child when we rode the bus together. I have not seen her in many years, but she was unforgettable and so sweet!

  2. Robert, so sorry to hear about Cyndi.. She always kept Sherry and I laughing when she came in the office

  3. My deepest sympathy for the family. Cyndi was always so sweet to me. I met her through my mom and my mom thought the world of her l so I know she was a special soul because my mom didn’t like too many people.
You all are in my prayers. May you all find peace and comfort in the days and weeks to come.

  5. Cindi Renee Meeler Allen was one of the Absolute Sweetest Human Beings that I ever met in my entire life….

I first met her while riding Mr. Patton’s school bus on our way to school. She was very sweet and had this quiet grace about her……

I got to know her a little better as we grew up; but, like a lot of youth and teenagers I had my focus on sports and other things before I knew how wonderful girls and women really are……

Because she was two years older than I am we grew apart as we matured and went through high school and grew up…..

We re-connected a few years ago and kept in better touch these last few years……

I am saddened to learn of her passing. This world of ours is a lesser place without Cindi in it.

But, I take comfort in the fact that she is in a better place than we are and I will see her again in Heaven….

May God Bless Her Husband and his family members in these days and the difficult days ahead…..

Submitted with love and the greatest respect that one Human Being can have for another.

  6. Cyndi became a great friend in high school. I thought the world of her. She was always so genuine and kind to me, as well as everyone. When you would chat with her you could see in her eyes she was listening carefully and cared deeply about what you had to say. Thank you, Cindi, for all the happiness you brought to me, and to so many!

  7. Well said, CJ……
