Clarence Edwin 'Ed' McGeeDaingerfield-Funeral services for Clarence Edwin 'Ed' McGee, 85, of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Cason with Bro. Scott Darby officiating. Burial will be in the Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Ed was born on August 29, 1930 in Redwater, Texas to Pat and Marie Johnson McGee. Mr. McGee passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in Daingerfield, Texas.Ed was a retired machinist, veteran of the U S Army, member of the American Legion Post 351 in Hughes Springs and member of the First Baptist Church of Cason.He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sandra McGee, grandsons Kyle Maness, Glenn Paul Mullins and great grandson Baylor Mullins.He is survived by his wife Bridgette McGee of Daingerfield; sons and daughter-in-law Clarence E. McGee, Jr and wife Yvette of Daingerfield, Dennis Gipson of Naples and Ashton McGee of Naples; daughters and son-in-law Teresa McGee of Hughes Springs, Paula McGee of Daingerfield, and Denise Ingram and husband Paul of Daingerfield; sister Dorothy Hall of Daingerfield; nephew and wife Ben and Mileah Hall of Harleton.Family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
