Cheryl Lynn Turner Woods, 57, passed away on May 29, 2024 in Bedford. She was born to Jerry and Zelma Turner on April 3, 1967 in Euless. She graduated from Trinity High School in Euless. On July 11, 1995 she married Jimmie Woods and they had one son, Brandon Woods. Cheryl was usually a happy, positive person. She had a beautiful smile, was always laughing and she loved her family. Cheryl loved to play games and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved to ride ATV's in Colorado, go to Galveston and most of all, fishing. Jimmie and Cheryl had just gotten back from a 5 day trip to Galveston and of course she caught the biggest fish and had the picture to prove it. Usually where one of them was, the other was always close by. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmie; son, Brandon; brother, Jerry W. Turner and wife Karen; mother and daddy, Jerry and Zelma Turner; nephew, Jordan Bice and niece, Abbie Jefcoat. Services will be held at the graveside in Turner Cemetery in Hawkins at 11 AM Monday, June 3, 2024 with Pastor Greg Martin of Mobberly Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
