Charles Richmond Lee, went to his heavenly home on March 1st, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a respected member of the community, and a Christian. He was born on April 13th, 1949 in Columbus, GA., to Charles Edward Lee and Elizabeth Louise Baker Lee. Charles was a member of Circle C Cowboy Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He loved to sing country gospel and sung regularly in church services. He loved raising cattle, watching old westerns on TV and his Roy Rogers collection, but his main love was his wife and family. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his niece, Summer Lee Bowman, and nephew-in-law, Michael James Poehling. Charles' survivors include his wife, Gloria Diane Lee; two daughters and their husbands, Charlotte Diana Bynum and Roger Wade Bynum, Wendy Lynn Davis and Shawn Cody Davis; one son, Charles Richmond Lee Jr; his two sisters and their husbands, Betty Jeanelle Pope and David Earl Pope, Diann Louise Lee and Garth Dewey Bowman; Brother-In-Law, Victor Fulmer; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea Paxton and husband Josh, Miranda Gray and husband Coulter, Kimberly Wooten, Karie Wooten, Savannah Davis, and Cody Davis; and 4 great-grandchildren, Bryson, Cooper, Gunnar, and Lawson, and many many special relatives and friends. Charles’ last wish was that everyone to know Jesus, so that he could see everyone again in Heaven. Charles’ Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 at Circle C Cowboy Church, 1721 FM-3417, Mount Pleasant, Texas at 10am. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Circle C Cowboy Church in Mount Pleasant or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
