Randy Seybert officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Dan was born July 7, 1946 in Oakland, Ca. and died Sunday, March 3, 2013 in Tyler.Dan was retired from Lone Star Steel and was a member of United Steelworkers Union #4134 in Lone Star. Dan was a Baptist.Survived by his wife Brenda Wilson of Daingerfield; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Leslie Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, Chris and Laura Wilson of Hughes Springs; brother, Steve Wilson of New Diana; sisters, Sherrie Foster of Nacogdoches, Sandy Wilson of Bella Vista, Ark.; mother, Alma Wilson of Lone Star; grandchildren, Caleb Wilson, Cassie Wilson, Allie Wilson, Trevor Wilson and Mallorie Wilson.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com

To the Family of Dan Wilson, He will be very missed in this world for he was a very, very Good Man, Father, Husband, Son and Friend. Dan is in a Great place now, in the Mansion on the Hilltop that our Savor has been building for us for Thousands of years. God is Great all the time and this time is special. I work at North East Texas Credit Union and have know Dan for a long time. We graduted from high school together and I have done business with him. I am very sorry for your lose he was a wonderful person.

So sorry about Dan My Dad bought his sons first cowboy boots. We lived across the street from Him and his family, had lots of fun. He came by and checked on my Mom and drink coffee almost everyday, He was family just like Sherry ,Steve, Brenda and Alma, May God be with you in your grief
I work at North East Texas Credit Union and was very fortunate to know Mr. Wilson. He was a sweet man and always a pleasure to be around. He will be missed by many. I am very sorry for you loss.

I remember Dan from the West end of Jenkins Street in the 1960’s. He was the neighborhood Big Brother!!
