Calvin MorrisDaingerfield-Services for Calvin Morris, 64 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2017 at Church on The Rock with Bro. Randy Seybert and Bro. Dwight Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Calvin was born on February 28, 1952 in Longview to Travis and Virgie Morris and died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 in Daingerfield.He was a member of First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge in Daingerfield and Pipeliners Union 798.Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dickie Morris.Survived by his wife Deborah "Debo" Morris of Daingerfield; daughters and sons-in-law,Brandi and Brad Pittman of Hughes Springs, Bree and Dale Shimpock of Hughes Springs; sister Linda Morris of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren Cade Pittman, Claire Pittman, Presley Richardson and Paxton Shimpock; mother-in-law Dottie Thompson; sisters-in-law Dana Glass and Dolores Vercimack; nieces and nephews, Dallas Morris, Brittany Morris, Jessica Morris, Josh Cobb, Casey Glass, Jessica Ford, Marc Hall, Aaron Hall, Marci Hall, Trevor Phillips, and Leanne Garcia.Donations may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospitals.

He was fun and he was funny, with a special personality which endeared him to many people. Although his illness had wrecked his body, his spirit still shined.   19. Bree, I knew you best as you grew up with my boys. My heart hurts for you and your family. Our family lost Tip in October. Losing a husband, daddy, granddad at such an early age is such a loss. I will pray for you and your family.
