C. R. FloydDaingerfield-Funeral services for C. R. Floyd, 81, of Daingerfield, will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at South Union Baptist Church with Rev. Neal Clark and Bro. Josh Croswell officiating. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.C. R. was born July 16, 1931 in Cason and died Sunday, December 30, 2012 in Daingerfield.Mr. Floyd was a member of South Union Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served for 20 years in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Vera Floyd, brothers and sisters, Charles Floyd, Merle Nix, Bill Floyd, Doris Beason and Lela Cato.Survived by his sister, Juanita Hargett of Daingerfield; nieces and nephews, Billy Floyd, Linda Boyd, Ron Hargett, Steve Beason,Doug Beason, Bill Beason, Yvonne Haley, Tim Cato and Daniel Cato. Numerous great nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
