Barbara, precious friend, my heart is broken. So many, many memories of us growing up together, all of us girls laughing. Our biggest worries were passing a test, getting to school on time and getting to choir practice on time. All of us have been so close, even if we didn’t see each other, we knew we were there. Not to hear your voice again; not to hear your laugh again…I can’t imagine it. You’ve always been a part of one of the best times in my life…my gal pals. No bond could be stronger than that shared by good and true friends. You worked long and hard. You loved Bud so much. You adored your children and your grandchildren. You’ve left them quite a legacy, missy. All of us girls will be with you tomorrow. Give Bud a big smooch for me and tell your sweet parents I send them hugs and kisses. Until we meet again, I love you, sweetie. This hurts so much. So, so much.
