Annie Louella ClayDaingerfield-Funeral services for Annie Louella Clay, 92, of Daingerfield will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ with John David Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home. Louella was born December 16, 1919 in Daingerfield and died Saturday, June 2, 2012 in Hughes Springs.Louella was a member of Lilley's Chapel Church of Christ and worked for 49 years at Dr. Miller's office in Talco.She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Dora Pullan, Minnie Justiss, Artie Foster, and Addie Allen; 3 brothers, William Edward Clay, John H. Clay and George S. Clay.Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.Special friend, Pamela.Family will recieve friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

  1. Miss Clay was a larger-than-life figure in our youth, especially with a hyperdermic needle in her hand, but she was also a great friend of the Waddell, Williams, and Hall families. She touched the lives of many people and was loved and respected by everyone in Talco. They don’t make them anymore like Miss Clay, and we all miss her dearly.
