McFerrin, 73 of Daingerfield will be held Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Gibbs and Norman Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Center Grove Cemetery.Alfred was born May 16, 1942 in Camp County and died on September 1, 2015 in Daingerfield.He was a member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ, veteran of the U S Marines, retired from Lone Star Steel and a Mason.Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Shelia Johnson of Daingerfield; sisters, Veleta McFerrin of Mt. Pleasant, Doris Nesbitt of Texarkana and Betty Miller of Daingerfield; grandchildren Lt. Nathan L. Silvers of Virginia, Christopher J. Saenz and Tammy of Idaho, Harlie Webber and Gene of Daingerfield and Jordan Freeman of Daingerfield; great grandchildren Jacob Silvers, Zoey Saenz, Skyler Saenz, Atticus Saenz and Makenzie Saenz. Three nieces and 3 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews.Donations may be made to the Daingerfield Church of Christ Youth Fund or Cypress Basin Hospice.Family will receive friends from 6 til 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
