Carey Lynn Gose

Carey Lynn Gose, 51 of Daingerfield was born February 7, 1974, and passed away on March 29, 2025, following a terrible automobile accident. Carey was born in Clarksville, Texas to Samuel David Gose and Belinda Joyce Penny Gose. He moved to Coalgate, OK when he was 5, attended elementary school in OK, then the family moved back to Daingerfield Texas in 1982. Carey went to Daingerfield schools and obtained his GED in 1994. Carey briefly served as a paramedic EMT and worked for several years in the area. He joined the Army later in life, did his basic training and received a medical discharge from the service. Carey found himself in declining health and was not able to work due to medical issues. Carey is survived by his mother, Belinda Joyce Penny Baxter; step-father, Kenneth Baxter; two daughters, Courtney Harrison and Karagan Gose; two grandchildren; and two half-brothers. Carey is to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Daingerfield and laid to rest at Our Lady of the Pines Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home in Daingerfield.
