James Thomas

James Gilbert Thomas, a longtime resident of Daingerfield, Tx., was called home by his Heavenly Father on February 25, 2025, at 83 years of age. He fulfilled his earthly duties faithfully and lovingly, always believing in the promise of eternal life. His generosity and kind heart touched everyone who crossed paths with him. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Brenda Sue Thomas, his daughters: Kimberly Thomas of Keller, Tx., and Pattie Curtis, along with her husband, Matthew Curtis of Forney, Tx., his granddaughter: Taylor Reid, along with her husband Kyle Reid of Wills Point, Tx., his grandson: Michael Curtis, along with his wife, Monica Curtis and his great-grandchildren, Declan, Weslie, and Maggie of Greenville, Tx. He will be greatly missed, but not forever, as we are assured of a joyful reunion with him in Heaven one day. No services are planned at this time.
