Margie Faye Carlton was born on March 28, 1927 to M.H. and Jewel Flint. At the age of 97, she passed away on October 8, 2024.
Margie was born and raised in Edgewood, Texas. She was a long time member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. Margie dedicated her life to her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Dean Carlton; daughter, Donna Sue Simpson; and siblings, Doris Edwards, Elizabeth Redpath, Maxine Carlton, George Flint, and Leon Flint. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Deana Bush and husband, Joe, Lewis D. Carlton and wife, Helen, Mary Modelski and husband, Ken, Bobby Carlton, Sandra Steele; brother, Robert Flint and wife JoAnn; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a memorial service for Margie at 11 AM on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas.
