Charles Kimble

Charles Kimble, 83, of Hughes Springs was born on June 2, 1941 to Charles, Sr. and Eileen Kimble. He passed away on September 2, 2024 in a Daingerfield nursing facility. Charles had a lifelong love for classic cars. He was a major history buff, having worked as an equipment operator for the railroad, he also loved trains and was a railroad enthusiast. Charles was known for being very friendly. He was always one to give a compliment to ladies any opportunity he had. A loving father and grandfather, Charles was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Clyde Kimble. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Kimble of Louisiana, Joshua and Kassie Kimble of Hughes Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Shane Brown of Alabama; grandchildren, Trevor Brown, Cameron Brown, Payten Kimble, Eli Kimble, Isabella Kimble, Dylan Kimble, Kynlee Kimble as well as his life-long friend for over 60 years, Wayne Lindsey of Louisiana. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM, Friday, September 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family would like to extend a special heartfelt "thank you" to the very professional staff at Windsor Place in Daingerfield and Heart to Heart Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Charles in his final days.
