Jean Sutton Moore I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 DAINGERFIELD/LONGVIEW -Jean Sutton Moore was born in Clarksville, Texas to Travis and Effie Cornett on October 5th, 1934 and went to be with the Lord May 4, 2024 in Longview after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Johnny Moore, brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Barbara Cornett, and brother-in-law James Walker. Jean attended Paris Junior College after graduating from Clarksville High School. While there, she participated in many extra curricular activities and was named Homecoming Queen of her class. She also met and married the father of her 4 children Ken Sutton. Jean moved to Daingerfield, Texas where she raised her four children and worked as a legal secretary for Harold Nix Law Firm. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Daingerfield where all of her children were baptized. In 1992, Jean decided to complete her college degree and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at LeTourneau University. Jean married Johnny Moore and spent 34 wonderful years with her best friend. They enjoyed spending time together and with family and friends. After her husband passed away in 2016, Jean moved to Hawkins Creek Assisted Living in Longview. The family would like to thank the staff and Prime Care hospice for their love and care. A special thank you to Christina and Suprena for their love and care.
