Sharon was a woman of many passions, and her love for travel took her to far-off destinations like Ireland and Greece. She spent as much time as possible in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where she enjoyed making lasting memories with her loved ones.
Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her seven cherished grandchildren. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to supporting them in all of their activities.
Sharon never met a stranger and her warm and welcoming personality made her many lifelong friends.
For 25 years, Sharon served as a dedicated librarian for Daingerfield-Lone Star ISD. She had a special place in her heart for her former students and kept up with their journeys, offering encouragement and guidance.
For Cumberland First Presbyterian Church of Daingerfield, Sharon selflessly contributed countless hours of service. From creating programs to maintaining the church's needs, her faith and devotion to her church community were unwavering.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and RC Easley, and her beloved husband, John Lawson. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by her children; Kiley Shaffer and husband John of Ore City; Jessica James and fiancé William Eastin of Longview, and Dustin James and wife Jessie of Colleyville. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren who will miss her tremendously: Seth, Natalie, Kaleb, Ayden, Emerson, Alexa, and Sadie; brother Mike Easley; sisters Tina Harmon and Kathy Stanley.
Sharon Lawson's spirit will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Our hearts are broken at the news of this. She was truly a beautiful woman inside and out. We send our condolences to the family.

So very sorry. My deepest condolences to all the family.
Remembering Sharon from our early days of friendship in Naples/Omaha. Always sweet and kind. I don’t think I have ever known anyone as crazy about their kids and grands as Sharon. She loved each one of you so very much, sure seems unfair for her to be leaving this life so soon. Holding a special place in my heart for all of you as you lay this dear one to rest.
I met Sharon through a mutual friend (Ginger and Ethana) and was instantly drawn to her warm and caring personality. Through the years I grew to love her and always was happy when we 3 had the opportunity to visit together. I am truly grieved about her passing, I will miss her. I know she loved her family and grandchildren. I am so sorry for you loss. However, I know she is in Heaven – looking down, smiling and in peace.
Sharon was a sweet lady. I always remember her coming into the vets office with her beloved black and white kitty. Prayers for the family. 🙏
