Nancy E. Smith

Nancy Elizabeth Putnam Smith was born in Gorman, Texas. Her parents were Abb and Ida Putnam of Cisco, Texas. She peacefully passed away at the age of 73 in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. Nancy was a Cisco High School graduate. She loved to read and enjoyed researching the genealogy of her ancestors. Nancy lived and worked at Victor-Cornelius in Eastland, Tx., where she raised her 4 children. After the children were grown, she relocated to Mt. Pleasant, Tx., and worked as a bookkeeper for Pilgrims Pride for many years. Nancy was preceded in death by her daddy Abb Putnam, mother Ida Putnam, brother William Albert Byrd, sister Vera Hogan, son Dwayne Stennett and great grandson Jairod Smith. She is survived by her husband, Tommy Smith; 3 Daughters; Glena Smith, Shelley Allman, Missy Deuter and 2 stepsons Eric and Josh Smith; along with numerous grand children and great grand-children and 2 sisters. Services have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
