I remember when Brian, Karen and a very young Kevin honored me with a wonderful Thanksgiving at my home. How blessed I was to have this man and his family have that holiday meal with me Was truly a day to give thanks to have such a good family to spend time with this old woman. God bless

So very sorry for your too early loss of Brian. I’ve known Robert for over 75 years, living one street over from him while growing up. Nothing is harder than a parent losing a child as we all expect our children will outlive us. It must give you comfort to know that Brian died while he was doing what he loved best and had trained for and worked at his entire life: being of direct help to others in immediate physical need of his help. God bless him and each one of you who dearly loved and appreciated him. May God give you gentle comfort and peace as you adjust to your life without his daily presence, help, laughter, guidance, and love.
My mother lost her only son, my brother and Robert’s good friend, 20 years ago. The link of our four score years’ friendship continues at a distance but with still bright memories of Robert snd Ernest riding bicycles through the neighborhood almost daily. My love and deepest sympathy and condolences to y’all,
Sonja Bilger Romanowski
