Sammy Evans

Sammy Evans, 63, of Daingerfield was born on January 6, 1960 in Bogata to James and Lucy Evans. He passed away on July 2, 2023 in a Tyler hospital. After graduating high school he became a driller in the fiber optics industry. He loved woodworking and was farmhand. A loving husband and father, Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Evans; brothers, Glenn Evans, J.R. Evans; father-in-law, Larry Martin. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Martin Evans of Daingerfield; son, James Evans; daughter, Samanthe Elliott; sister, Pat Belcher and mother-in-law, Loraine Martin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tina and John Duensing. Honoring his requests, cremation services have been entrusted to the Horn Family at Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
