Danny Freeman

Graveside services for Danny Freeman, 73, of Pasadena, formerly of Daingerfield will be held at 3 PM Monday, January 9, 2023 at Spring Hill Cemetery in Rocky Branch with Bro. Jeff Bethard officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the funeral home. Mr. Freeman was born in Naples on June 15, 1949 to Morris and Elizabeth Freeman. He passed away on Friday morning, January 6, 2023 in a Mt. Pleasant nursing facility. Mr. Freeman proudly served his country with the United States Air Force. Danny had a love for kids and sports. He coached his kids when they were kids and more recently loved making trips to Daingerfield, Hughes Springs and Santa Fe to attend his grandchildren's sporting events. He was a member of the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Penny. He leaves behind his sons and daughters-in-law, Clint Freeman of Daingerfield, Bryan and Shawn Freeman of Daingerfield, Adam and Taimy Freeman of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Nathan Gutierrez of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Dylan Freeman and wife Bailey of Hughes Springs, Cooper Freeman of Shreveport, Shelby Sims and husband Jacob of Sumter, SC, Cali Freeman of Hughes Springs, Brody Freeman of Hughes Springs, Emma Gutierrez of Santa Fe, Gavin Gutierrez of Santa Fe; great grandson, Baker Freeman of Hughes Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Emily and Ben Janca of Hughes Springs, Wanda and Wayne Bethard of Longview and brother, Dugan and Judy Freeman of Longview.
