Omie’s only child, Dianna, was the first friend I made in Ms. Tolbert’s first grade class well over 65+ years ago. We are still good and fast friends to this day. I spent many an hour either at the cleaners, bugging her Mom, or at their house eating up every pie her Mom made. I have so many fond memories of their first house ‘in the woods’ to the house on Timberlane. Love and Peace to all the family.

I have so many good memories of Diana and her folks. We were so blessed to have a wonderful place to grow up and to have good, good parents for so long. God bless you all at Christmas time. Love to Diana and Mac and all the family. Steve Cowan
So very sorry for the loss of this beautiful lady I always thought of as another mother and a safe place to be either at the cleaners or the house spending the night. She was always precious to us. Not goodbye but see you later sweet lady.
I met this incredibly beautiful lady in 1968 when I moved to Lone Star. We attended church together for so many years. She was always the most inspiring lady to me! You, Diana are so much like your Mom. We have all been blessed by just knowing this sweet lady.
Ms. Harrod as I called her, was a special and wonderful lady to all that had the privilege to know her. She was a hard worker and great cook and as it’s been said, we all loved her “pies”. True, she only had one child but lots of Diana’s girl friends considered Ms. Harrod their second Mom and she mothered us like her own. Diana and I had her take us to El Chico’s to eat on Saturday afternoons too many times to count and she never refused no matter how tired she was. From the pictures posted, she was the loving grand mother to Trace and Ann, greatgrands and all in her grasp. Diana , Mac, Trace, Ann and entire family
I know you are facing a huge loss and I pray the Lord will be with you. Ms. Harrod has earned her rest thy good and faithful servant. Peace be with her🙏 Bev Barnwell Walker
This lovely lady was so special to many in Lone Star. She always had a smile and was a dear friend to our family. Love and rest in peace.
She was one of the sweetest blessings around here at Grace Hill. Her smile was simply beautiful and she made friends with everyone here. She was loved and will be very missed. She was part of our family and always will be. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family during their time of loss. Prayers for strength for the upcoming days and weeks as well.
Dianna, I’m sorry for your loss, may the good Lord keep you and your family in his loving arms and give you peace.
Sending prayers for you and your family and friends.
