Thelma Virginia Singleton

Mrs. Thelma Virginia (Ginger) Singleton was born May 28, 1952, in Texarkana, Texas. She passed away September 26, 2022, in Paris, Texas. Ginger was a resident of Hughes Springs, Texas. She loved interacting with people and worked in retail most of her career, most recently for Bailey’s Hardware in Daingerfield, Texas. She enthusiastically volunteered her time and talents to the Christian Service Center in Daingerfield. She received Jesus Christ as Savior and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Daingerfield. Ginger was a loved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by sons, Lester Caples, Jr. and Larry Caples, and daughter, Angela Caples. She is survived by her husband, Paul Singleton, sons, Lee Caples, Paul Singleton, and James Singleton, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Andy and Lee Spence, and Jessie and Glenda Spence. In her last days, Ginger delighted in P.J. and J.D. Singleton, and they were the light of her life. The memorial service will be at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1009 Broadnax St., Monday, October 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. Brother Doye Wilbanks and Brother Jared Gould officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield.
