Charles Robert Cahall

Graveside services for Charles Robert Cahall, 78, of Daingerfield are scheduled for 1p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Daingerfield Cemetery with Bro. Yanckton Hatten officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Monday, September 26, 2022 at the funeral home. Charles passed away September 21, 2022. He was born November 29, 1943 to Blanchard and Verna Cahall. He graduated from Hamersville High School in 1957 and proudly served his country with served in the United States Marines from 1963 to 1966. For his service, Charles will receive full Military Honors at his graveside service presented by American Legion Post 351 of Hughes Springs. Charles lived most of his life in Cincinnati Ohio until he moved to Texas in 2010 to be with his family. He lived in Kemp Texas until December 2020 when he moved to Daingerfield with his daughter and son in law. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins as well as knives. His dog, Belle, was his pride & joy. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Robbie. Survivors include his daughters, Charlie Stephenson, Angela Mayrant, Stephanie Cahall, his son Timothy Slark, six grandchildren, Rosie Roberts & husband Will, Amber Jones, Kayla Walls & her husband Chris, Travis Hollandsworth, Kristin Cahall, Cole Caviness and six great grandchildren; Evan & Riley Roberts, Kenseth & Kaelyn Jones, Jaxen & Hunter Walls. Pallbearers will be Chris Walls, Brent Walls, Warren Stephenson, and Travis Hollandsworth. His last ride was given in his prized pickup truck and was driven by Kayla. May he rest in peace.
