Mr. Powell was born on March 7, 1953 in Atlanta, TX to Alex and Pearline Powell. He passed away on Wednesday evening, June 22, 2022 at his residence. Carl had a love for fishing, hunting and all things outdoors. He was a member of the Lone Star Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 21 years, Brenda Powell of Daingerfield; stepsons, David Walker of Denison, Toby Gilmore of Princeton; grandchildren, Melissa McIntire, Kayla Walker, Breanna Walker, Dakota Walker, Corbin Walker, Delaney Little, Kaylee Little, Ryan Gilmore; great grandchildren, Breckyn Walker, Brantlee Walker, Brycin Giardina, Rowdy Fagan, Braxtynn McWilliams; brothers, Robert Powell of Atlanta, Jamie Powell of Atlanta; sisters, Catherine Garrett of Longview, Dixie Jackson of Atlanta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
