Wesley E. Goodman

Funeral services for Wesley E. "Wes" Goodman, 68, formerly of Odessa will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church of Eunice, New Mexico with Matt Hemmingson officiating. Burial will follow in Brunson Memorial Cemetery in Eunice under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield, Texas. The family will receive friends beginning at 9 AM prior to the service at the Church. Wes was born on February 23, 1954 to Wallace and Mildred Goodman. He passed away on May 3, 2022 after a recent hospital stay. Wes was an avid fan of all sports and enjoyed following his favorite teams. He loved outdoors and gardening, was a collector of coins and baseball cards, but more than anything had a love for a good lottery scratch- off ticket. In 2019 he retired from REXCO after 31 years of dedicated service. Wes was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kay and Gary Schwulst of Linden, Tennessee; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Beth Goodman of Daingerfield; nephews and nieces, Brad Bundick of Linden, Tennessee, Bryan Bundick and wife Leslie of Wears Valley, Tennessee, Lindsey Wells and husband Josh of Odessa, Andy Goodman and wife Erica of White Oak; numerous great nieces and nephews and one cousin, Sharon Dewitt of Pearland.
