Services for John Alvin Jones, 59 of Lone Star, will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Jenkins Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home of Daingerfield. Mr. Jones as born on May 1, 1962 in Gilmer and passed away on Tuesday night, February 1, 2022 at his residence. He is survived by his long-time partner, Billie Edmiston of Lone Star; daughters, Erika Fountain & husband Justin of Lone Star, Tessa Jones & partner Myesha Quarles of Evansville, IN; sister, Linda Jones Huggins of Fort Worth; brothers, Lewis Jones, Jr & wife Sherry of Midlothian, Larry Jones of Lone Star; and Tony Jones of Lone Star; 3 grandchildren, Jonathon Jones, Skyler Fountain, & Bryleigh Jones as well as Many aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis & Bonnie Byrd Jones and brother Charles Douglas "Doug" Jones. He worked the majority of his life in the construction industry. His family was definitely his heart & soul!
