Daingerfield-Funeral services for Sylvester Gilmore, 71 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 31, 2019 at the First Pentecostal Church of Daingerfield with Bro. Scott Darby and Bro. Shane Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Bradfield Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Sylvester was born on January 19, 1948 in Princeton, TX to Ernest and Erma Gilmore. He died on March 28, 2019.He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers R.V. Gilmore, Johnnie Gilmore, Donald Bearden, Billy Gilmore, James Bearden and David Gilmore. Survived by wife Barbara Gilmore of Daingerfield; daughters Amy Gilmore of Dallas and partner Brent Dahlin, Misty Whitmore of Daingerfield and husband Sedrick, Heather Jasper of Tyler and husband Dedrick; grandchildren Cristian Rodriguez, Owen and Tatum Whitmore, Austin Bruce, Dedrick Jasper, Jr., Maliyah Pierce and Jace Jasper; also, his best friend Buddy, his dog.Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
