Memorial services for Evelyn Reed Smith, 86 of Daingerfield will be held at 10:00 A. M. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dirk Littlefield and Pastor Dan Gilliam officiating.Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Evelyn was born on August 22, 1934 in Hartley County, Texas to Jim and Amy Belle Wiseman Reed. She died on Saturday, November 28, 2020.She was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church in Longview, the Sterling Club and BSF. She was a retired telephone operator for GTE.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years Roy Dean Smith, sisters Faye Reed and Catherine Kiser. Survived by her daughter Janet Littlefield and husband Tony of Daingerfield; son Jim Smith and wife Cindy of Lawrenceville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Dirk Littlefield and wife Kathy, Amy Trice and husband Jody, Nathan Watson and wife Amanda, Jathan Littlefield and wife Tamara, Byron Smith and wife Amy and Kira Smith; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.The family request to donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
