Daingerfield-Services for Stephen Wayne Bassett, 63 of Avinger will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at First Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Broughton and Bassett Owens officiating. Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Stephen was born on April 22, 1955 in Marshall, TX to Jack and Reba Watson Bassett. He died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Longview, TX. Steve was a member of the Baptist Faith and worked as a draftsman for a steal fabrication company.He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Bassett and brother, Bryan Bassett.Survived by wife, Susan Bassett of Avinger; mother, Reba Bassett of Daingerfield; sister-in-law Tori Bassett of Daingerfield; niece Britnie Bassett of Euless; 2 great nephews, Lawrence Jones and Bryson Bassett of Euless, several cousins.Family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday, September 17, 2018 at Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
