Phil CampDaingerfield- Services for Phil Camp, 74 of Daingerfield will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Nail-Haggard Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Daingerfield Cemetery.Phil was born on February 1, 1943 in Pittsburg to Vernon and Virginia Camp and died on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 in Longview.Phil was a member of First Baptist Church in Daingerfield. He worked at Lone Star Steel and former owner of Texas Steel Pipe, Inc. and Camp Feed and Fertilizer. He was employed at Erskine and McMahon Law firm in Longview. His passion was his horses and cows and his family farm.He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Marianne Camp.Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Paul and Dawn Camp of Argyle, Marcus and Kellie Camp of Diana; sister and brother-in-law Virginia Ann and Jim Brown of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Jarrett Camp, Rylee Camp, Cole Camp, Kaytlin Parrymore and Macie Parrymore; nephews Stephen and Regina Brown, Joel and Allison Brown.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

  5. I am greatly saddened to learn of Phil’s passing. He was a fine man and talented athlete. We were football teammates at Daingerfield as well as friends, and I extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family and may the Lord comfort and strengthen each of you at this time.
