Services for Darrell Wayne Collard, 48 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 15, 2020 at Veal Switch Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Roberts and Bro. Shelby Crump officiating. Burial will be in the Veal Switch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Darrell was born on August 19, 1971 in Longview to Rex and Sherry Collard. He died on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.He attended Veal Switch Baptist Church and was a truck driver. Darrell was a coach for Daingerfield-LS Dixie Youth Baseball Association for 28 years.He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Collard, brother David Ray Collard, grandparents Pee Wee and Dolly Wallace, Jack and Nadine Collard.Survived by his daughter Harley Collard of Daingerfield; son Weston Collard of Daingerfield; son-in-law Tyler Logan of Daingerfield; mother Sherry Collard of Daingerfield; sister Dana Owens of Daingerfield; granddaughter Tatum Kelli Logan of Daingerfield; nephew Allen Owens of Daingerrfield; children's mother Kelli Collard of Daingerfield; several aunts, uncles and cousins.There will be a time of visitation from 1 till 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.In light of the current governmental health regulations, social distancing will be enforced.Online condolences may be made at Nail-HaggardFH.com
