Your family is in our prayers during this time, I want to say it was such a pleasure to work with Kerry at DPS I met her in 2001 and continued to work with her as I transferred around the State in Motor Vehicle Theft. She truly cared about the people she worked with and was always ready to help…. She will be missed.

I knew Kerry through working at DPS although I didn’t work with her. Kerry was a wonderful person and always welcomed a visit. I didn’t know any of her family, but I want to offer my deepest condolences and prayers for this very difficult time. May God bless all of you and may your happy memories of her eventually drown your sorrow.

I worked with Kerry for years early on in my career at DPS. She was a blessing to work with. Dear Heavenly Father, Giver of all things good. Thank you for the gift of Kerry. Surround the Ralston family with friends and loved ones that they may feel Your hands upon them. Comfort them Lord in a way only You can. Strengthen their Faith, Hope, and Love that they endure this time of change. Bless all with safe travels and especially bless them with good decisions during this time of mourning. I was very fortunate to get to work with and to get to know Kerry from her time at DPS. She truly loved the work she did and she was always willing to give her time to help us try to learn what she did – though no one has yet or will ever fill her shoes. Her infectious smile and that cool accent is forever embedded in my mind and my heart breaks for the loss her. All of us are better for having met her and I still try to keep the positive attitude she insisted we all maintain during the most trying times. To the family, know that we all loved and looked up to Kerry and my prayers and warmest thoughts are with you all.

My heart goes out to the Ralston Family in this time of need. Kerry was one of the best Anaylist I worked with and I am blessed to have known Kerry. I was talking with a person in Wisconsin just a few days back and she knew Kerry because Kerry was a go between, between the officers in the field and manufactures. The point being Kerry knew people far and wide. She was truly missed when she retired however it is nothing like the way we will miss her now. I worked with Kerry for many years with the Auto Theft Task Force with San Antonio Police Dept. in the 1990’s. Kerry will be deeply missed. She was a ver dear friend. There isn’t enough space in a notebook for all I could say about my sweet sister and fellow Vehicle Crimes Analyst/MVTS & ICT. Kerry is my family as we all shared a lifetime of tears together. My husband & I send our Deepest thoughts and prayers to all the Ralston Family. I’ve requested the Lord to wrap each of you in love and comfort from our Father above. A huge hole is in all our hearts and she will forever be in our hearts. Our love is forever and always. KERRI AND I WORKED AT THE SAME DPS OFFICE (TYLER) OUR PATHS ONLY CROSSED IF SHE STAYED OVER AFTER HOURS AND I HAPPEN TO COME IN EARLY AS I WORKED NIGHT SHIFT IN COMMUNICATIONS. KERRI’S FONDNESS FOR MR. POTATO HEAD FIGURINES ALWAYS GAVE US A CONVERSATION IN PASSING. I JUST WANT THE FAMILY TO KNOW HOW MUCH I ADORED KERRI AND OUR CONVERSATIONS. KERRI, HAS BEEN MISSED SINCE HER RETIRING AND WILL FOREVER BE IN OUR THOUGHTS.

The Men and Women of the National Insurance Crime Bureau extend our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of Kerry Ralston. Kerry supported our special agents in the field just as she did law enforcement auto theft investigators in Texas and throughout the United States. Kerry was the “gold standard” of analytical knowledge when it came to auto theft. She was instrumental in training many agents and investigators in the art of vehicle identification. She was a wonderful kind person and her passing has deeply saddened our staff.

Soon after I promoted to MVTS and was assigned to Midland, June 1980, Kerry and I met on the phone, when I needed information about a c-vin location.. From then, until I retired in 95, Kerry was my go to person for information. She had contacts nation wide and was very helpful in getting crooks of the street because of her knowledge. A special person and friend. Prayers to the family.

My prayers are with all of Kerrie’s family as you mourn the loss of your loved one and one of the very best DPS employees I had the pleasure of working with. May the Lord Bless each and everyone. She is at peace with our Lord and Savior.
