Daingerfield-Funeral service for Christine Aikin Carr, 84 of Daingerfield will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Church on the Rock with Bro. Randy Seybert and Ed Brockway officiating.Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Christine was born on January 6, 1935 in Franklin County to Lester and Mozelle Walker Cooper. She was raised by her mother and J.W. Aikin, Jr. She died on May 23, 2019 in Daingerfield. She was a member of Church on the Rock.She was preceded in death by her parents, J. W. Aiken, Jr. and brother Fred Aikin. Survived by husband Frank Carr, Jr. of Daingerfield; son James Carr of Lone Star; daughter Kay Carr Stewart and husband Eddie of Daingerfield; brothers Wayne, George, Steve, and Jimmy Aikin and Don Cooper; sisters Margaret Aikin Barker and Kay Aikin Newby; 3 grandchildren Christy Elaine Carr, Christopher Mac "Mackey" Stewart and James Patrick Stewart; 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M.
