Mayo McClellanDaingerfield- Services for Mayo McClellan, 57 of Daingerfield will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at South Union Baptist Church with Bro. Chad Thompson and Bro. Phil Deogracias officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.Mayo was born January 20, 1959 in Gilmer and died on Friday, January 13, 2017.He was a member of South Union Baptist Church. He was a well respected leader in the auto sales industry fro more than 35 years in both East Texas and the Dallas metroplex. Mayo was preceded in death by his father Richard Duane McClellan and nephew Kevin Hughes.Survived by his mother Shirley McClellan of Daingerfield; daughters Kelsie McClellan of Plano, Meghan McClellan of Terrell and Molly McClellan of Terrell; sisters and brother-in-law Angela and David Gilmour of Dallas, Karen McClellan Darris of Daingerfield; brother Richie McClellan of Daingerfield; grandchildren Lucille McClellan, Gabriel McClellan, Jax Allen and Harper Black all of Terrell; 4 nephews and many other relatives.Family will receive friends from 6 till 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home

    Shirley and family. It is very difficult to lose a child no matter the age. I will be thinking of you. I never get to go to East Texas funerals unless Susan can take off work to take me. Not allowed to drive down by myself…Love to all of you.

  3. Mayo was a classmate of mine. He was always smiling no matter what he was doing or not suppose to be doing. Lol. He was a very nice young man and will be be miss by family and friends.
